Kokeneet podcast, Episode 1 – When the Hospital Doors Opened

In the Kokeneet podcast, long-serving Niemikotisäätiö employees reflect on the changes in mental health work they have witnessed over their 40-year careers. The first episode takes us back to the 1980s, when mental health care in Finland underwent a major transformation.

The Niemikoti Foundation provides client-oriented and professional social psychiatric rehabilitation and preventive mental health services for working-age mental health recoverees in Helsinki. Our work promotes the well-being of society in a responsible, long-term, and non-profit manner.
