Day Activity Units
The Day Activity Units (Culture Workshop ELVIS, Malmi Day Activity Center and Villa Borgis Activity Center) offer creative, activity-based, culture-oriented, and well-being promoting groups for mental health service users living in Helsinki. Participation is open to Helsinki residents in mental health recovery by contacting the instructor of the respective day activity unit.
Kulttuuripaja ELVIS / Culture workshop elvis
Participation requires residence in Helsinki, an active care relationship, and age between 18–35 years. You can get in touch by email or phone. Send an email to elvis(at)niemikoti.fi, telling us:
- who you are
- what kind of things interest you
- your contact details (email and phone number)
We will contact you to arrange a personal introduction visit and interview, after which you can join the activities. You can attend the introduction visit alone or together with, for example, a representative of your care provider.
After the introduction, you are welcome to take part in our groups. We recommend trying out different groups – exploring and experimenting is encouraged!
