What Does Family/Loved Ones Involvement Mean at Niemikoti Foundation?
At Niemikoti Foundation’s day activity units, various events are organized annually, and the relatives of service users are warmly welcome to participate.
Family members are also invited to take part in the foundation’s expert-by-experience activities and training.

Once a year, a special event is held for all relatives and close ones of the foundation’s service users. This event offers an opportunity to learn about the foundation’s operations, the support available for families and relatives, and to engage in discussions about topics of concern.
Niemikoti Foundation collaborates with the Central Association of Families with Mental Illness – FinFami.
The foundation’s operations are based on the recovery-oriented approach, the core principles of which are presented in the attached brochure.
