The Niemikotisäätiö customer magazine Hyvä mieli 2/25 has now been published. The issue will be delivered to residents during this week and will be available for reading in all units within the same week.
The theme of this issue is change – a phenomenon that touches all of us. Editor-in-chief Niina Sahlberg reflects beautifully in her editorial on how nothing in life is truly permanent. Change can feel uncertain or even a little frightening, yet at the same time it enables growth and learning. Every experience of change shapes us and opens new perspectives on life.
Throughout the magazine, change is explored from many angles: from practical updates in units and workshops to personal stories and insights. The issue includes a wide range of articles on past and upcoming events, workshop news, interviews, comics and writings by clients. Highlights include President Tarja Halonen’s visit to the Sateenkaarikahvila at the Haaga Activity Centre (page 10), the 20th anniversary of VERnetti (page 27), and the 10-year milestone of the expert-by-experience training programme (page 26).
As the editor-in-chief notes, permanence may feel safe, but in reality, there are only a few things we can rely on to remain unchanged. What we can influence is our attitude towards change – and this issue invites readers to reflect on just that.
Hyvä mieli 2/25 once again offers warm, thought-provoking moments for every reader.
