Social Enterprice
Niemikoti Foundation has been awarded the Social Enterprise Mark by the Association for Finnish Work. According to the Association’s definition, this means in a nutshell:
Social enterprises operate responsibly and carry social responsibility. They engage in sustainable, long-term business activities and use at least half of their profits to develop their operations or donate them to a chosen good cause. The mark can be granted to an enterprise that has been established to address social or environmental challenges.
Transparency and openness are also important. The enterprise must define its social objectives as well as the use of its profits in its articles of association or statutes. See the full criteria in the rules for the Social Enterprise Mark.

Niemikoti Foundation creates social value by carrying out responsible, non-profit, long-term mental health work.
By employing or providing work tasks for a person with partial work ability, you support their social rehabilitation and opportunity for inclusion.
