The series explores experiences of the transition away from institutional care, the development of community-based rehabilitation and the growing role of recovery-oriented approaches \u2013 in other words, how mental health work has evolved from the 1980s to the present day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussions feature <strong>Arja<\/strong>, <strong>Lisbeth<\/strong>, <strong>Tarja A<\/strong>, <strong>Tarja I<\/strong> and <strong>Tiina<\/strong>, who have been involved in developing Niemikotis\u00e4\u00e4ti\u00f6\u2019s activities since the 1980s. The series is hosted by communications specialist <strong>Katja Lampela<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As usual, the song <strong>Yhdess\u00e4<\/strong> provides the music for our Yhdess\u00e4 podcast. Its lyrics were created from texts written by service users for Niemikotis\u00e4\u00e4ti\u00f6\u2019s 40th anniversary celebration in 2023, where it was performed by a band made up of service users
